Charlie the caretaker was a very nice lady. The rooms were super clean. The dorms were beautiful. The bathrooms were super clean and tidy as well. The Onefam Waterloo has a lively atmosphere as a social party hostel designed for young backpackers and solo travellers. The staff was amazing and really nice, other travellers were also really nice. Everything is really clean and the hostel is really well-located.

Nice and clean place in the peaceful country side close to Hexham and some of the main sights along Hadrian's Wall. Nick was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was a quiet week so had the whole place to myself, but everything I needed was at the hostel/bunkhouse. Basic breakfast available for a cheap price, good WiFi, beautiful nature surroundings and quiet so I could get a good night's sleep. Good budget accommodation to stay for a few nights. Hexham is a 17 minutes drive with bus, the bus came only every second hour, but was always on time, so getting back and forth was relatively easy.
